Perks of being a Content writer

Hello Everyone,

Just a random thought that I would like to share. In my childhood, most people around me wanted to grow up quickly. I had a different image of grown-ups in my mind. I wanted to be a child forever, "paake ghade, kaani na chadhe," I used to quote. It translates to "You can not make alterations or improvements to an already baked earthen pot". It is better to make all the changes when it is still on the wheel and wet. I thought that is what happens when you grow up, you lose the opportunity to improve, be better than before, or maybe, just try a different shape of life for some time.

I studied science, biology to be specific, and then did my post-graduation in botany (very specific). This happened in 2021, but I have been writing since the year 2012. When I moved to Jaipur, I got to know that writing does not necessarily have to be stories or poetry; it could also be a career in content writing.

Before being a content writer, I've had a brief experience teaching several students, several things. I've taught Science, Social studies, English, Grammar, Phonetics, Communication Skills, Botany, and Zoology as well. So, if I wanted to, I could choose any of these subjects and teach, tutor, or create specific content in that niche. But I chose writing. And, I don't regret it!

Wanna know why? Because I have written for doctors- cardiologists, neurologists, dermatologists, gynecologists, Cosmetic surgeons, and physicians too...- What did I learn?- Basics of all these medicinal sciences...Trust me, it's interesting!
Then, I wrote for Tourism...Tour packages, destinations, VISA, a little bit of geography - I learned how tourism works, I learnt WordPress, almost everything I know about my job, I learned it there. Readability, SEO, Keywords, Plagiarism, AI's impact on this field, and the most important of all, I learned leadership and time management skills like never before.

Next, I briefly worked in the gemstone jewelry sector, which was interesting! The amount of gemstones, colors, clarity, cut, and carats. It was all sparkly and shiny like a gemstone, but it had the hardness level of a diamond! I enjoyed that too. I learned how jewelry is actually made, also learnt the difference between natural and lab-grown stones.

Now I am working with IT...data analysis and AI to be specific. The Artificial Intelligence I loathed is now a friend! I write things manually, but I write about AI. I learn about AI models, different techniques they work on, and a lot about businesses and their systems as well.

Why am I sharing this with you all? To tell you that I do not regret being a content writer at all. I never wanted to grow up because I never wanted to stop learning. I never wanted to limit the area of learning, and of course, no better way to learn about things than research and write about them. A lesson from childhood!
